Beside the army, weather is making flying over China difficult
Today Matevž and the GLWF team have been surprised by the weather. Conditions have been extremely difficult, yet with a bit of luck (and experienced pilot and team) everything ended well, so premature landing caused just bad temperedness.
The cold front has passed over flying route, so Matevž will continue the flight today at 02:00 UTC (04:00 am slovene time) over the mountains, approximately an hour and half to the destination. In case he would manage to take off before 02:00 UTC and refuel the aircraft in Hohhot in a short period, Matevž is going to pass Mongolia and land in the town of Ulan-Ude, Russia. Flying over Mongolia is planned to take additionally seven hours and a half, what means that with the ideal schedule tomorrow he would fly nine hours and landed in Russia at sunset.
